What Finding Purpose in Pain Has Taught Me
Sharing these moments is one way I continue finding purpose in pain and making sense of what healing looks like.
To Have Pain Is to Be Human
Pain is part of the human experience. It humbles us, connects us, and reminds us we’re not alone. Sometimes, it allows others to let their guard down. Sometimes, it gives us the words someone else has been searching for. And sometimes, it becomes the very reason someone finds the strength to act.
Pain is inevitable. It can be isolating. It can be gut-wrenching. But it can also lead to something beautiful. What if we allowed space for both? Pain and beauty. Grief and growth. That tension—that beautiful pain—can become purpose. And in that purpose, the pain is no longer in vain.
I’ve lived through many painful moments. At times, I hesitate to even say that—because someone always has it worse. But I’ve come to learn that pain is relative. It’s not a competition, and it’s not meant to be compared.
My purpose here isn’t to share every detail or claim to have it all figured out. I’m simply on a journey—just like you. What I share comes from lived experience, not expertise. These are my reflections, my learnings, my truths.
If something I write resonates with you, I hope it brings comfort, clarity, or a shift in perspective. If it stirs something entirely different, that’s okay too. That’s the beauty of this life—we’re all walking our own paths, and still, somehow, we can walk alongside one another.
